Rhodiola rapidly relieves stress

Stressed out and need a natural pick me up? A recent study found that the herbal medicine Rhodiola rosea may help relieve stress symptoms within as little as three days.

To see if Rhodiola could help relieve stress around 100 people with life-stress symptoms took 200 mg twice daily for 4 weeks (1). Within just 3 days there was marked improvement which continued to improve over the 4 week period.

Rhodiola extract at a dose of 200 mg twice daily for 4 weeks is safe and effective in improving life-stress symptoms to a clinically relevant degree” concluded the study investigators.

Previous human clinical studies have suggested Rhodiola may help relive moderate depression, anxiety and stress related fatigue or burnout (2-4).
